The Woodie Long Retrospective

Woodie and the cow

The Woodie Long Retrospective opened on November 21st. The evening was a combination of Woodie’s private collection, his musical friends, shared memories, and of course, his favorite dessert, chocolate cake. All of the artwork in the exhibit is on loan from the permanent collection of Dot Long and made possible through the generosity of Robert and Daryl Davis. Many thanks to our devoted community members who love Woodie and have worked so hard to make this show happen. This is a tribute to how much Woodie meant to all of us and recognition of his historically important contribution to art.

Woodie would have loved this...

Chocolate Cake

and this too...

Music Men

But most of all, he would have loved spending time with his good friends.

Sharing memories

More memories being shared
